CHRIS FEATURED ON E! NEWS TONIGHT!
Set your DVRs Kid–I *think* i’m being featured on E! News The Daily 10 tonight (?). I guess they heard about the “I want your sex” videos and are featuring them in the “Now Hear This” segment. I honestly don’t know what they’re going to say–i hope it’s good. How awesome would that be if they hated them and I told everyone to watch?! “Hey everyone! Watch me get bashed! Woo hoo!” Hopefully not.
Apparently it was supposed to run last Monday but the segment got bumped cause Lindsay Lohan went to jail or something. We’ll see what happens. You should be able to find the segment on E!’s website after or tomorrow–if so go leave comments that you like the videos–regardless of what they say!
CHRIS SINGS ON NEW OFFICE MAX COMMERCIAL
Have you seen the new Office Max commercial? it’s a funny tear-jerker. Moms putting their kids back on buses to school and the mom forgets to give her son his lunch? There’s a classic male singer serenading in the background? Yep–that’s me.
I love how this commercial came out and Office Max is such a wonderful company. Be sure to go buy your supplies there.
But the crazy thing that happened yesterday on YouTube, twitter and Adam Lambert’s wedsite was that his fans (the Glamberts) thought he was the Guy singing in the commercial and they were dying to find out the truth. By the time I knew what was happening there were pages and pages of comments debating who the mystery singer was.
Things then got heated as MANNfans started passionately promoting that it was in fact ME singing and not Adam! Ha.
I think Adam is one of the best singers out there. What a freak of nature voice that Guy has. So I wad pretty happy with the comparison (though idont hear it myself on this commercial )

Like so many of the others on here…i kept hearing the office max commercial….your voice and the arrangement of music kept my ears tingling and finally today i google Who sings new 2010 office max song? Then I went to youtube to find it and Im sad to see you have not recored it yet. Please record this song…Your voice is reaching more cultures than you know…Im a 28 yr old AA female and Im feeling it!

Hey, i thought it was adam lambert to, not like he sings now, but when he was in the ten commandments, with val kilmer. He sang a song called “Is anybody listening”. He also did a demo for sountracks and things that didn’t really go anywhere before idol, and it sounds similar, but i think Chris has a deeper tone to his voice when he sings, it makes the song kinda reverberate, which i think is really nice.

The commercial kept grabbing my attention. Who was that amazing voice? I bought every song you’ve done listening for that same little part that the commercial uses. Now I see that you haven’t recorded it yet. So, it seems your greatest hit is destiny in the making. Thanks for sharing your gift, Chris. Your voice is so unique and special. Unlike anything out there and your down to earth, approachable personality make you a true breath of fresh air. I can’t wait to see what amazing things the future holds for you. a comparison to the singing style of Josh Groban maybe- but not Adam Lambert. But great commercial, and I really like the song! I think I heard it playing in my head when I sent my son off to kindergarten for the first time.. oh crap! Here I go again! where’s my kleenex?

I had no idea what a ‘Chris Mann’ was until the OfficeMax commercial…then read the Lambert/Mann debate on YouTube. So what’s the latest with this song? It’s awesome. Who wrote it? Why is it not recorded? What’s it called? Dude! Get ON this! Looks like you’re doing fine but this is what’s known in your industry as a “break out performance”…and you know this.

I second that vote to record the Office Depot song… I’d never heard of you until now and I’m an instant fan! Saw the Office Depot ad and immediately jumped online to find the man behind the voice. After many Adam Lambert detours (don’t get me wrong, he’s got some great pipes too), I landed on this site. Listened to some of your music and love what I hear. “When the Lights Fade” is also a killer tune.
